Interesting Notes about Bellflower:

The huge flowers on this hybrid are stunning especially when allowed to colonize in large masses. This occurs quite naturally since they spread by underground rhizomes. The flowers are sterile and will not self-seed. This perennial prefers full to partial sun for the production of flowers, but if given a break from the afternoon sun in warmer climes the plant will flourish.
