Interesting Notes about Littleleaf Boxwood:

Boxwood is one of few broadleaf everygreen shrubs that can handle frequent shearings for a tight manicured look or it can be left alone to grow naturally. They do flower, but it is not significant and the leaves can be a little sensitive to strong winter winds and salt damage. The shrubs prefer moist, well-drained soil with an alkaline pH. Boxwood can flourish in almost full shade, but do best when there is on and off sun throughout the day.
