Interesting Notes about Flowering Almond:

Flowering Almond practically dominates the spring season with the beautiful flowers, but the straggly form the rest of the season is why this shrub is not given a front row seat. Pruning does help to control the form somewhat, but this shrub does spread which can make it challenging.
