This early bloomer can hardly wait to begin and once it does will bloom all the way into fall.

Potentilla is a small, colorful shrub that can tolerate very cold temperatures, but in climates warmer than Zone 7 the heat and humidity are a challenge and affect their performance. They are durable, take short periods of drought and flooding, and transplant easily.
