Interesting Notes about Patriot Elm:

A complex hybrid, this has been one of the best performing elms at the John C. Pair Horticultural Center in Haysville, KS.  Patriot Elm is a large tree that adapts very well in both wet or dry sites which speaks highly of its durability.  What adds to its toughness is its excellent resistance to Dutch Elm Disease and to the elm leaf beetle.
