Interesting Notes about English Oak:

This form of the English Oak is an upright columnar form that matures into a dense, oval-shaped tree with a short trunk.  Leaves hold dark green color all summer without much fall color, but leaves hang on into winter.  Powdery mildew is a problem and should not be grown in an area with extended periods of humidity.
