Interesting Notes about Indian Jujube:

This tree prefers moist, well-drained soil in hot and dry climates, but will tolerate drought for short periods.  The leaves are a shiny green accompanied by 2 spines and in the fall the leaves will turn yellow.  The fruit is very popular over in China and when totally ripe resembles a date.  The fruit can be eaten fresh or dried and has some medicinal uses.
