  • Yellow, yellow-brown and russet red in fall
  • A tough tree well adapted to urban conditions

Great shade for large yards and parks and is also a nice tree for planting near ponds.

Interesting Notes about Willow Oak:

The leaves on this oak tree are unusual for an oak in that they are like a willow leaf on steroids. They emerge a nice, bright green, later turn dark green and in the fall turn shades of orange, yellow and red. The tree prefers moist locations, but does tolerate drought.
