Interesting Notes about Plume Grass:

This is an ornamental grass that is used to replace Pampas Grass especially in colder regions. It is tall and produces plumes that extend past the foliage another 6'. The plumes are great in both fresh or dried arrangements and outdoors they are especially nice in the fall and winter. Plant in dry to moist well-drained soils and do not allow to stay wet because then the foliage topples over.
