Interesting Notes about American Linden:

For naturalizing only this giant tree grows best in rich, moist soils and does not appreciate air pollution in populated regions.  It is a native tree and can certainly be used in the landscape where its popularity will soon become apparent when the bees delight in the nectar of the flowers and the birds take refuge and feast on the seeds.
